The Italian engineer Angelo D'Angelo has two major obsessions: traveling and 3D printing. D'Angelo has come up with a way to combine his two passions with an ongoing project that shares with the world through his blog. D'Angelo has worked with 3D printing since 2011, and now, whenever traveling, brings to each city a 3D printed part of it.
The project called # 3DPrinTravel is simple. Before going to a new city D'Angelo choose one of the symbolic monuments, then search the 3D printing model online, if it fails to find one, design his own model and performs the 3D print. Then brings the 3D print with him, and when he arrive at his destination, he takes a picture of the 3D print miniature in front of the monument or the real site.
